FAQ
Will I be working with a licensed therapist/counselor?
No. I am not a licensed therapist or counselor. I do not diagnosis or provide any type of medical advice or treatment. The services provided by New Page Grief Partners are coaching sessions via video chat or phone from a grief partner who, like you, has personally experienced deep loss. Because of my own experience with grief, I bring the perspective of shared lived experience to the healing process. This first-hand understanding offers a unique level of insight and connection that may not be available from a counselor or therapist who has not experienced similar loss. Licensed therapists and counselors can offer a clinical experience (MDMR, diagnosis, etc.) that can be a helpful part of healing. I am strong supporter of their work and encourage others to seek their guidance and support. My therapist was invaluable resource in early parts of my grief journey.
Does New Page Grief Partners accept insurance?
No. New Page Grief Partners does not accept insurance of any kind. You will find rates to be extremely affordable. Affordability shouldn't be a reason someone can't access support in their grief journey.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. There is no contract to sign. We will work together at your pace. There is a cancellation policy. Please access that page on the main menu for details.
